A Native Plant Guide website for the North Central region of Arizona. My goal was to use iconography to represent the native plants. I created two sets of icons; a simplified skeleton of the plant and the other, a more robust illustrative icon to show more detail on the plant’s information page. This region of Arizona, is a rocky desert but also gets a good amount of rainfall which results in more greenery than in most areas of the state. I wanted to bring forward the serene and terrestrial environment by using an earthy color scheme, as well as, hints of vibrant and muted greens.
